We are excited to announce that Eildon Events Inc, a local community organisation dedicated to organising memorable events, is looking to expand its team of volunteers. We are reaching out to you and extending this invitation to join us in making our town an even more vibrant and lively place.

 

At Eildon Events, we firmly believe that community engagement is the key to creating exceptional events that bring people together. We are passionate about organising a wide range of activities, from Opera and markets to fundraisers, that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our community. However, to continue our efforts and achieve even greater success, we need your support!

 

Whether you are a longtime resident, a newcomer to our town, or someone from further afield  who simply loves getting involved in community events, we warmly welcome you to become a part of our volunteer team. There are various ways you can contribute, and your involvement can be as little as helping out with a single event or as frequent as participating in all our activities.

 

Here are just a few examples of how you can lend a helping hand:

 

1. Event Setup and Pack Down: Assist us in setting up event venues, arranging decorations, setting out chairs, and ensuring everything is in place before the event begins. Following the event, help with the pack-down process to restore the area to its original condition.

 

2. Gate Attendance: Be the welcoming face of our events by managing entry points, checking tickets, and providing information to attendees. Your warm smile and friendly demeanor will make everyone feel welcome.

 

3. Event Direction: Help guide participants and visitors during our events, ensuring they have a smooth and enjoyable experience. Your role will involve providing directions, answering queries, and offering assistance as needed.

 

We believe that by joining forces, we can make a significant difference in our community. Our events not only bring joy and entertainment but also provide opportunities for local businesses, artists, and organisations to showcase their talents and contribute to the cultural richness of our town.
